BEAVERS

🦫 Busy Beavers – Nature’s Little Builders! 🌊

Beavers are busy little builders! They live near rivers and ponds and are famous for making dams out of sticks, mud, and stones. These dams slow down the water and create ponds where beavers build their cozy homes, called lodges. Beavers take care of themselves by working together—chewing down trees with their strong teeth, storing food for winter, and fixing their dams whenever they get damaged. With their flat tails for swimming and big teeth for gnawing, beavers are amazing helpers of the wild!

🌟 Fun Beaver Facts:
• A beaver’s teeth never stop growing, so they have to keep chewing to wear them down.
• Beavers can hold their breath underwater for up to 15 minutes!
• Their tails work like paddles when swimming and like chairs when sitting.
• Beaver lodges have secret underwater doors to keep them safe.
• Beavers are nature’s engineers—they change the land to make homes for lots of other animals, too!
